What is one day in life of a person?
Sometimes alot sometimes nothing.
This one special day was used to point out one global day in a fast-moving age of todays time. |

On February 29th 2008, 12 artists from 6 continents worked on an “OneDayWork” after reading the most read newspaper of their city or even country. After this day no artist continued to work on their work.
The idea of this project is to discover to what extent the single artists are simultaneously influenced by current events in their work, independent of their natural environment, and how the conscious look into time leaves its mark on their work. |

| Exhibition Tour |
The concept for the exhibition in the second project phase aims to go beyond merely presenting the final art work. Visitors are invited to learn about the individual experiences of the artists, not only through observation but also in an interactive way, to gain a better understanding of the artists and their surrounding.
By displaying video interviews of the artists; cultural differences and similarities in the perception of time in connection to today’s global world will be emphasised.
In some countries, e.g. Romania and Morocco, there will be symposia with the participating artists, other international artists and local artists, in addition to the exhibition. |
